Don't forget the Hursti Hack.

there are several ways our election system can be hacked,
the one i think is easiest to understand and explain is known as the Hursti Hack, here's how it works.
most of our elections are counted by optical scanners. the optical scanners have memory cards that are programmed at a central location before every election. this is where they put the information about what the races are, and who is running for each race onto the memory cards, so the optical scanners know how to read the paper ballots and count the votes. in most cases, this central location is not secure by any means, with internet access, no vetting of workers, not even locks on doors in some cases, etc... In many cases this is actually a third party contractor, not even the voting machine company that programs the memory cards. at the central location, along with the information about the candidates and races, the memory cards can be infected with a virus that tells the optical scanners to count the votes incorrectly. the people doing the actual real work of programming the cards don't even have to know it is happening. then the memory cards then get dispersed to the optical scanners in each voting location. On election day, no one knows that the votes are being counted incorrectly. In many states there are no checks that the optical scanners are counting correctly. in some states there are statistically ineffective checks. Many states just run a short test of a few ballots before the election, and then they run the real election and never audit the machines. so the optical scanners count the votes wrong and no one knows. this has been demonstrated and documented multiple times (google "hursti hack" ). this is just one of several ways to hack an election system. anyway don't take my word for it. the list of computer security experts who have been sounding the alarm about this is extensive, along with studies by the Brennan Institute and others all coming to the same conclusion.

I’m sick reading this. But we need to know. I doubt that we’ll have another presidential election again ….unless they have fully rigged the election process.

What happened to my country???

Why are so many people following the Felon ???

We truly are hanging on by a thin thread to democracy.

the only type of auditing that is effective is risk limiting audits. hardly any states have that.
security ? do you even know where the memory cards are programmed? or who does it?

only 6 states have risk limiting audits.

standard pre and end result auditing are designed to reveal if the the POS machines have been tampered/tilted. It hasn't. And they haven't. And the idea that the only thing that will really provide a level of safety - is bank vault security, vacuum seals, retina scans, truncheons and jack boots - is spurious, and resides in the fevered dreams of conspiracy and purists.

Just a handful of precincts and races. Do it randomly (or let the candidates choose where the recounts occur--allowing for the most suspicious results to receive the highest degree of review).

No one would dare cheat under these circumstances because the checks would frequently expose them.

we do have spot checks and audits. the problem is they are ineffective.

Verified Voting is the expert on this. they tell us only "risk limiting audits" are effective at preventing fraud.

only 6 states have risk limiting audits.

so there you go.

lots more great info here:
