One more step in the process we don't hear much about:

With everything he's doing, like removing FEMA to help with federal disasters, it will result in increases in the number of distress sales. So, who in this country has the funds to buy property up for pennies on the dollar?

Right. The Billionaires. It is a one way swing door with Trump's policies. Everything he's doing is going to hand this country over to the wealthy.

How long do we have to wait for his idiot supporters to figure it out.

It is their proverbial "Primrose Path".

Darwin's waiting with their award.

The billionaires want to buy up housing for pennies on the dollar and turn
them into very expensive rentals.

Only the rich will be able to own their homes.
The rest will have to pay for very high rents.

Americans will only live in rental housing.

It is certain it will all be rentals.

They get the profit off of everything, food, housing, healthcare, etc.

The sad part is that many of them are not idiots. Look back at Nazi Germany. That movement was not composed of idiots. Germany was one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world when Hitler rose to power.

The MAGA movement is composed of people that understand perfectly well what they are doing. And that is putting their boot on the neck of people that they have been taught to hate. Anyone that disagrees with them, Liberals, Communists, Jews, Back people, immigrants, and enemy that is handy - this has been their plan for at least 70 years.

Point is, it's not useful to underestimate our enemy, the level of hate they have for us and our freedoms, and the methods they will use to suppress us.

There'll be the ruling class, the merchant class, & the peasants. Oh & the clergy, to scare us all into staying in line.

What people don't see is that as things deteriorate more & more people slip into lower groups, so you may be well off now, but unless you're super secure in your position, a bunch of people at that level are going to fall down to the level below, & so on & so on, until most of us are peasants. We've been heading this way since the tax codes changed. Democracy can't exist with all the wealth at the top.

Now let's talk climate change & the deadline that has put on the US situation compared to 1930s Germany, that had years to recover. We don't have years. As we try to recover we will also be dealing with disaster after disaster. I'm not on DU all day, but yesterday I didn't see one story about the LA fires.

We're so fucked. That's me being optimistic.

All we heard yesterday was how Jeffries pushed back on Trump, tying relief to Trump's desires.

11. Oligarchs, Tech Bros, Nationalists, and Mobsters want feudalism without the merchant class or free cities.

They want to claim territories or business niches (think dystopias like "The Crow&quot where loyal underlings can act as "merchants, police, and tradesmen" and get some favored treatment for themselves only while the rest of the population are just resources to use as the mob boss wants.

Don't want to keep beating the drums like this, but they're basically Ayn Rand Acolytes. The strongest or wealthiest in their world makes the rules, everyone else needs to fall in line and beg for scraps or deserves nothing but punishment or death.
