Today is the 80th anniversary of the end of the Battle of the Bulge, WW2.

As dad recalled soooo many times, the coldest stretch in all of human history. Then again, I've never spent much of a Winter outside day and night with people shooting at me.

Dems need to re purpose Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe's simple, concise response to the German demand that he surrender Bastogne. Use it for all the orange hemorrhoid's demands no matter how crazy or trivial.....

NUTS!

We will not cooperate......NUTS!

to the Smithsonian Channel, they have been running a documentary series (at least 3 parts, maybe more) called "Liberation: D-Day to Berlin." One part covers the Battle of the Bulge. Lots of actual footage, some colorized. It is disturbing at times.

Four episodes are:

France
Belgium and the Netherlands
Hitler Strikes Back
Germany
