Holocaust Memorial Day

On this day, 80 years ago, Auschwitz was liberated by people like my Father-In-Law, then with Patton's 3rd Army. It's a day we remember the victims, most of whom remain unidentified, were not buried in any cemetery, or under any tombstone and also a day to reflect on the existence of evil and how horribly people can treat one another.

My Father-In-Law, my uncles, and my parents (The Greatest Generation) would attest that Nazis were not and are not "very fine people."

Blaming them for society’s perceived ills, then demonizing them, then eventually dehumanizing them.
