Who is going to stop Trump? Possibilities include- Blue State Governors. National Guard under the control of Blue State Governors. State Police under the control of Blue State Governors. Local police under the control of Blue City Mayors. The mass of the General Population. A National Strike. The remaining Dems in Congress. Heads of Corporations that are not Republicans but support Democracy. The Federal Courts. Members of the Federal Government that will resist Trump. Members of Federal Law Enforcement Agencies that will resist Trump. Members of the U.S. Military that will resist Trump. Possible foreign assistance from Democratic Allies from Canada to Japan to the Democracies of Europe. The power of the people in America that will fight and resist Trump's Fascist Regime.

JD isn't any better, maybe worse. As must as I'd like to see that bloviating ass gone, I fear what comes after. Although, maybe the chickenshit GOP Congress might show some spine if T is no longer around.

If Trump had a heart attack tonight and kicked the bucket, a Fascist like Vance would be in charge and all the same MAGAs and Project 2025 operatives would still be running the Federal Government. That said, MAGA is in large part a cult of personality built around Trump. If Trump had that heart attack tonight, I think that it would take the wind out of their sails somewhat. But if Trump kicked the bucket, we would still be in a serious situation.
