Funny thing happened to me over the weekend

I volunteer as a greeter at an aquarium here in Detroit. I didn't know I was going to be working a shift with a right-winger. So I brought my coffee from home in a coffee mug that has police lineup type photos on it of the war criminal Bush the Second on it. She noticed it and kept looking at me, just about to say something the whole time we were working. Every time I took a sip, I made sure his image was visible to her. I got such joy watching her bite her tongue for 3 hours!

while flying back to NC from CA - I wore my "Flaming Liberal" t-shirt. As I was getting to my seat, I passed a woman already seated and she was looking daggers at me. I'm sure it was the shirt. Made me feel good.

I have a little theory that the reason magats are triggered by such things is that it stirs up shame in them. of course they just immediately brush that aside for the rage. but maybe over time some of them will come to realize the enormity of their mistake, work through the shame instead of stifling it, and come out better people on the other side.

i don't know. I'll just keep being a walking billboard anyway.

Lots of fond memories. My grandmother grew up near there (ca 1900) and told stories about when the gas lights came to Jefferson Ave and how she and her sister would walk down to the river to watch the sailing ships go by. My brothers and I (ca 1960) would ride our bikes to Belle Isle.

Funny, but just last night I was thinking about that scene from the film Scarecrow with Gene Hackman and Al Pacino at the big fountain on Belle Isle.

you knew the election was stolen?

Why didn't they?

If I can...

60+ cases. No evidence. Lawyers disbarred for putting in a lawsuit without checking for evidence.

Of course, they give me that they have mountains of evidence.
- - Give me a link?
You wouldn't believe it if it came on a silver platter.
- - I have one. If I plate it with gold, would you let me have the link?
You wouldn't read it... ... ... ... and on and on and on.

Other than that, I can always respond: "Oh! Really!" ...to anything said. Especially if they're mad.
