All the more reason to shop less and save more

These various government freezes jeopardize the services and jobs that many Americans rely on. My own job is inked to grants. My sister's job is dependent on grant funds. People in Minnesota and other cold states will have heating aid shut off. Medicaid is fucked. Your education or your job at an educational institution is in jeopardy. The list goes on and on. The government isn't going to help us. We need to help ourselves, which means spending only what is necessary and saving as much as possible. The reason is not only to stick it to the Trump administration but more importantly to protect ourselves.

Me: I decided I don't need a new alarm clock; I can use my phone instead (I just need to stop peering at it at night). That's $20-$30 saved.

What about unemployment? Is that frozen too? I expect so.
