Interestingly, Robespierre's first job after graduating from law school was as a judge. He resigned shortly after being sworn in because he was opposed to issuing death sentences. He got over that in time to chop off half the heads in France.

But yeah, I thoroughly expect Trump to be like Judge Griffin in Judge Dredd: "We must expand execution to include lesser crimes!"
