Here's an example of a productive action that Democrats in the Senate should take.

In fact they were successful with this, blocking cloture so this terrible bill will not pass. These are the types of actions we should be hammering on - this one made a difference!

Measure Number: H.R. 23 (A bill to impose sanctions with respect to the International Criminal Court engaged in any effort to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute any protected person of the United States and its allies. )

Measure Title: A bill to impose sanctions with respect to the International Criminal Court engaged in any effort to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute any protected person of the United States and its allies.

Vote Counts:

60 votes were needed to invoke cloture so the Republicans failed.

If Tommy Tuberville, one of the dumbest dumbfucks on the planet, can gum up the works on military promotions singlehandedly *for 10 months*, surely Democrats can figure out ways to put the breaks on at least some of this administration's excesses.

3. Unfortunately, Tuberville's action would not work on cabinet nominees or other high level appointees

Nor will it work on legislation. That was really a unique situation that might not translate to any situations that come up in the next 2 years.
