Neil deGrasse Tyson for president

We need someone with a high profile to announce a run for president in 2028. A scientist! A Ph.D. in astrophysics. Someone that will dog the shit out of Trump and Musk and keep pointing out their lies and bullshit. A damn-near atheist to boot that can quote Scripture. A writer of books, a TV personality. A smooth-talking self-deprecator that can win arguments in multiple fields.

Why the fuck not?

that Caroline Kennedy or Chelsea Clinton will run for office.

Has Neil deGrasse Tyson everl expressed interest in running for office? Does he have the skill set for the job?

And simply pointing out, true as it may be, that the current office holder is singularly unqualified, is hardly an endorsement for another completely unqualified candidate to run.

...but there is very, very, very little equivalency between Trump and Tyson.

I hate to see this BS spread here about a wonderful science educator. I seriously doubt he would want to lower himself to enter US politics.

He didn't know the correct answer (grumpy philosophers was the category ) answer was Hobbes (Calvin and Hobbes) . I was very disappointed that he didn't get that right.

will never vote for a "damn-near atheist".

Too bad, of course, but the total lack of logic/reason in favor of religion vs. science for most of our population would never allow such to happen.
