Lots of people losing their minds over DeepSeek. It's MAINLY a distiller tool.... it finds what the big, powerful models do and then pares it down to something that can run on cheaper hardware. That's still pretty good, but it won't replace the larger models. It's mainly targeted at smaller users who want a "good enough" GenAI but don't wanna spend $10,000 on hardware.
