(2,529 posts)IG General Counsel already replied telling them the memo wasn't "legally sufficient" to fire an IG and told them who they could take it up with if they didn't understand this. The GC's letter shuts this down. They can't overrule the IG counsel on this. Why is any "security agent" following someone else's order? There is no WH authority here.

(2,529 posts)Who stated that the memo was "legally insufficient" to terminate any IG. The firings are not legally valid and can't be enforced. What in the ever loving fuck? Why hasn't a court spoken up and nixed this? The "security agent" now faces potential prosecution because they are not immune from illegal and unlawful orders.
