I love Bill Burr. One of the funniest comedians out there. His movie, Old Dads on Netflix is hilarious. tulipsandroses Apr 19 #1

I don't know how political he wants to get, but he could very well be a person " the manosphere" would pay attention to.

Both Burr's bit and Kyle Kulinski's commentary -- completely spot on.

To summarize the commentary

"The RW narrative is 'Yeah, things suck for you, but the problem is those brown people and trans people. Put us in power and we will be all over brown and trans people.' And for my whole life, Dems have not offered a counter-narrative to that."

No greater truth has been spoken on these pages. And even today, we are still mainly consumed with chasing after Trump's latest atrocity, while failing to offer the public an alternative. The only people that are really, clearly presenting an alternative that people connect with are Bernie and AOC. That's a problem, because I'm not convinced either of them can win the White House. But without offering a really solid narrative the people understand, we will lose. I know some Dems are really trying to do something useful, but they need to listen to AOC and Bernie -- and if not them, at least listen to Bill Burr and Kyle Kulinski.

And Kulinski is exactly on point. We won't be bringing back any significant jobs. That's not the point. The point is to win the NEXT wave of industries, or at least be competitive. But Trump has no plan. There was real legislation under Biden for solid industrial policy, but Trump killed all of that in his first week.
