First, I don't believe in any "end times" or biblical prophesy based on the drug induced dreams of John in Revelations. So I am not going to list how the Trump fits into what the Bible says (because thousands of people throughout history also fit and every generations the same signs occur)
But as far as someone who is the opposite in almost every way from the Jesus in the Gospels, Trump is the "anti-Christ".
Ask any Christian to make a list of the qualities that belong to Jesus, and none will belong to Trump.
That so many Christians have embraced him show how flawed their particular faith is. (Not all Christians, just the ones who also worship Trump)

(1,003 posts)I would say mainly evangelicals and their 1950's make believe prosperity gospel along with their denials of the New Testament.

(128,846 posts)but he is certainly an anti-Christ, in the sense that he's the perfect un-Jesus. Does he love his neighbors as himself? He doesn't love anybody but himself, and the only neighbors he tolerates are other wealthy and powerful people who will suck up to him and do things for him. Does he chase money-changers out of temples? He welcomes and encourages them. If Satan offered him dominion over the world in exchange for his allegiance he'd take the offer in a heartbeat. Does he cure the sick, feed the poor, welcome strangers? Nope; he takes funding away from medical research, cuts poverty benefits and deports immigrants to foreign gulags. Would he sacrifice himself to help another? Oh, hell, no; he wouldn't even inconvenience himself. He'd step over (or on) your bleeding body to get a second scoop of ice cream.

Nothing.
People who consider themselves "Christian" and worship Trump are theological imbeciles at best.

(4,017 posts)He's the very incarnation of the Seven Deadly Sins:
pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth
If you look for the fruits of the Spirit, he has none. He has the opposite. He exhibits joylessness and dissatisfaction rather than joy, strife and discord rather than peace, animosity and hatred not love, wickedness and corruption not goodness, intolerance and maliciousness instead of kindness , intractability and frustration rather than patience, harshness and brutality not gentleness, disloyalty / treachery rather than faithfulness, and instability and rashness rather than self-control.
He brings out the worst in people. A leader pulling people toward hell, not heaven, as they become more like him.
Trump is likely to bring the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to US and the world as well.
Pestilence (by dismantling the CDC and withdrawing us from the World Health Organization);
Famine (by dismantling systems that support farming and the selling of their products, as well as Project 2025 plans to drop crop subsidies, by using tariffs to put food out of reach, by triggering a recession that will likely become a depression)
War (by encouraging the removal or extermination of the people of Gaza, upending NATO, giving Russia encouragement to expand into Eastern Europe)
Conquest (Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal, and Gaza are all in his sights already plus he's threatening Iran as well)

A little context: the cartoonist, Dave Willis, grew up in a strict conservative evangelical household, and Joyce, the little kid/older kid/young woman in this progression is something of an alter-ego of his about how that bubble bursts for some people, and of some of the hypocrisies that manifest in the people that never leave it.
