(10,259 posts)the grifting, insider trading, the cruelty, dangerous foreign policy, abandoning Ukraince in favor of Russia, I seriously doubt that anyone will stop him. I think the next 4 years might do irrepuable harm to our nation domestically and internationally.

I'm beyond frustrated there isn't a daily, unified democratic voice of outrage about what's going on. We have some scattered voices & Bernie & AOC's tour, but not one big, unified message from the Democratic Party. Yesterday I saw a video of a few republican men at one of the Bernie/AOC events & they were very open about their disgust over deportations without due process. US democracy, 1775 - 2025? Or will enough of them wake up in time to save the republic?

(34,407 posts)and all the people that voted for them. That's whose bell needs to be rung, but as usual...silence. Kind of like every 4 years when some red state messes up their elections, they want the one candidate not from their state to fix it. Their votes, in their state, rinse, repeat.

(4,826 posts)This is what the country wanted. They were warned, they had the entire first term to look back on, they saw the things he did and the crimes he committed and they voted for him anyway. They also gave him all of Congress.
There is no one to stop them.
America fucked itself. No mean feat but so very often pulled off.
