23. I'm sorry, but, I find the original blue sky account claiming there was a "standoff" absurd.

It was misinformation, and, the OP has been edited to reflect that. The original BlueSky poster deleted their tweet after feeding bs to thousands and thousands of users.

It appears some percentage of the story was correct. The rest of it was still wrong.

My annoyance is not with the OP. It’s with random social media posters posting nonsense and hearsay online like it’s fact, while refusing to say whether or not the story has been confirmed. I feel like it’s done to bait clicks and engagement. They also replied to their own bluesky post saying, “I’m not really sure if this is true or not.” Ok - why post it then?

I really think random social media posts should be avoided as OP material, tbh.

Yes we know - Fox News is in charge and they're stomping over everyone and everything to maintain their power because they didn't like their precious plaything being taken away from them in 2020. It is part of the Department of Commerce.

However, there have been proposals to merge the Copyright Office and the Patent Office into a new, separate entity. Whether the current attack on the Library of Congress and Copyright Office will further those efforts remains to be seen.

Pesticide free tomatoes from LSU Agricultural Experiment Station are in season and I'll have the privilege of retrieving them tomorrow AM! I'm excited!

Last year they were $24.00 per 13 x 15 x 8 box, your choice green or ripe.

We put up enough frozen fire roasted tomatoes last year to last until March.
I grow tomatoes as well, however they're not green-housed and our yield is generally significantly less than these seasoned professionals.

Gardening and Cooking are two of my many favorite activities generally pushing their way to the near top of my list.

Any way... just took a quick green break... back to the garden!
