Update on my Mother.

She is resting peacefully. They have her on sedation meds to ease the stress with her breathing. Her breathing has slowed down and the vitals are slowly dropping.

I do appreciate each kind words and your support for her. I’ll give an update tomorrow.

I did this with my mother and when she passed I felt her spirit and she gave me a last hug in my heart.

In one case, it was sudden - literally "they didn't wake up".

In the other, it took a few weeks post-diagnosis, so there was time to say goodbye.

In both cases, it was emotionally shredding.

Take care of what needs doing, and take care of yourself!

You take whatever time you need, my friend.

But thank you for any updates you have to offer. I had to watch and wait while both my dad and mom slowly faded away. I’d guess a bunch of us here understand how hard that kind of vigil is.

Here’s a hug. (((((( * ))))))

You will find the strength to do what is needed to do. One simple but hard thing
to do is to tell your mom even if she seems out of it tell her that it is all OK and that
I am here and if she hears you to squeeze your index. Or not.
