Why Qatar is bribing Trump

Why Qatar is bribing Trump

https://open.substack.com/pub/popularinformation/p/why-qatar-is-bribing-trump

Qatar wants:
- U.S. weapons
- Military protection
- U.S. foreign policy influence in the Middle East
- Favorable trade terms and investment opportunities

Trump wants:
- bribes

So Qatar gave him a 0 million plane and a .5 billion golf course deal.

This isn’t complicated.

From Qatar's point of view, it's perfectly logical. They haven't forgotten 666 Park Avenue. Eugene May 2025 #1

They bought off MF45 through Jared Kushner during the Arab League blockade. It's in Qatar's survival interest that MF47 stays bought.

He has no integrity so all it takes is enough money and he will do whatever the Qatar rules want. Favorable US government policies are now for sale to the highest bidder.

He should be allowed to keep it. After getting the Pope elected and bringing China to its knees (laughing) in the bestest trade deal ever - the Dear Leader deserves a little luxury. With the Qatar hotel and the Gaza strip mall, the entire region will love us!

along with Saudi Arabia and UAE. Need a way to get all the Trump family and cohorts back to pay for their crimes, should they ever be charged.

and I have to wonder just how calculated this is, giving a plane laden down with real gold leaf on every surface (and even gold leaf adds up, gold is heavy stuff) to the only world leader with enough cupidity to take it, the man who crashed the oil market with his stupid tariffs and cost Qatar a great deal of money, raising serious questions about bribery, naked corruption, emoluments, and a host of other nasty issues it will be hard for him to dodge, even with that marshmallow controlling the House for the next year and a half.

Oh, I think the Sheikh knew exactly what he was doing.

To make into a VC 25 the structure is stripped bare bones.
Then the armament and countermeasures mods to the airframe are unique to type. New wiring and avionics will set them back years.
By then the Boeing built VC 25s should be complete.
Subcontractors will need to build all the Com Sec as I doubt it's off the shelf.
Another distraction while stripping Habeus Corpus and draining the treasury. He is purposely clogging our legal system.

"... the current planes (2 AF1 planes) are not up to the standard of those used by other world leaders."

Who kidding who?
None of the other world leaders, have anything close to what the 40 year old AF1 provides.

Article states that the 2 new AF1 being built, will not be available until 2027.
These planes have to be able to withstand an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) attack.
This is a massive electronic pulse that can knock out all electrical equipment.
To make AF1 capable of withstanding an EMP attack would mean that all the wires have to be shielded.
A plane flying, hit by an EMP, would fall out of the sky, without this shielding.
You think the Q-AF1 would have this capability?
Not for $400M. The 2 AF1's on order, that won't be ready until 2027, will cost $1.95B (yes billion) each.

When we receive the Q-AF1, it would have to be retrofitted with all the counter measures that the 2 we ordered have.
Guess what? I'm betting that the Q-AF1, will not be able to fly during Mierda47's term in office.
The 2 that are on order, will be available before the Q-AF1 is ready to fly to our standards.

They gave $2 billion to Kushner in 2020, so $400 million would be small potatoes to Saudi Arabia. What for is another question.
