I'm watching the Supreme Court hearings.

Its the four female justices who ask most of the questions.

Clarence Thomas might as well be asleep. He asks no questions, contributes nothing.

Justice Jackson was a great addition to the Court.

during oral arguments. Maybe he hasn't read the briefs; maybe he doesn't care; maybe he's just thinking about his next vacation with Harlan Crow.

So when Thomas does have a question to ask, it's going to be one of the first, and then you don't really hear from him again. He seldomly interrupts or gets involved in cross talk.

It also ends up grouping the women on the court. You'll hear Sotomayor and Kagan together a lot, and then you'll get Barrett and Jackson talking a lot.

Graces us with being there in court, to collect his checks. Really tough hours to work.
He is the actual Uncle Tom in flesh.
Made his way to be the house, out of the cotton fields, black man servant for the plantation owners. The Samuel Jackson character in “Janko In Chains” movie. (I know I spelled that wrong. Old brain attack) Think we need more Jamie Fox Characters in real life, to mirror the outcome from that movie. Boy they sure shut Tim Scott’s’, South Carolina’s House Servant’s, mouth after his usefulness was over.
Ddi he ever marry the mystery Canadian bride, Is she seeking divorce after our war on Canada was declared?
Thomas should be in prison, not making laws. With Alito. Bought and paid for while getting paid tax dollars with the greatest health care on the planet. Plus untaxable TIPS!

as in literally went years without doing so, but when Covid happened the justices went in order (of seniority so he was 2nd) and he started asking questions. They still do this even back in person so I am a little surprised he didn't ask any questions.

Definitely not. Too many qualified people with real progressive bona fides.
But you are correct that she may have integrity- I would reserve judgement on that, though, for another few years to see how she thinks on many different issues.

Both rude and disrespectful. And they try it way more with the female judges.

As an aside my oldest sister was born in the US because my mother went into labour while she and dad were in New York harbor on their way back to the Caribbean from England.

I started it late, waiting for the other side's presentation. Sauer's voice drives me crazy, not as bad as RFK Jr's voice. It is just hard to listen to. I know it is not their fault their voices are the way they are. It is just like fingernails scratching a blackboard to me.

I really like Justice Jackson
