(16,629 posts)That the way Trump behaves, he really seems to be working for Russia or China. He appears intent on destroying America. He is the first American president I have seen quite like that.
Even if Bush, Reagan, Nixon etc were horrible, it didnt seem quite like a direct war on America. I dont think he is doing it deliberately.
But these days we are all more manipulated by external forces than before. And someone that undisciplined and chaotic would be perfect that way.
I am pretty chaotic myself and keep trying to make myself immune to interference from the outside world (wrt my own work and life).
So when I look at Trump who is a mass of chaos, I see a Manchurian candidate whom a skilful manipulator could totally control.
I am not American (though I went to school in the US). I am back in my home country in the Global South and my dad is a military vet. Our country in non-aligned as a rule but was friendly with Russia and my dad has been to Russia. He says that their military culture does specialise in manipulative tactics and messing with the head etc.
That stuff is not rocket science and when you see how it works you feel such distaste. All that rubbish is also popular with our creepy technocrats. Its all so depressingly gross. A slide into the dark ages..melodramatic soap.
Imagine having to think about this worthless WWE adjacent crap.
I really disapprove of this creep culture that is taking over. A pox on all these creeps..

I seriously doubt this is going to happen. The only reason I can think of for Putin risking a trip to Alaska is to case the joint. The main reason King Mushbrain would meet him there is that our King thinks it's still part of Russia.
