I'm 78, a Boomer I guess, definitely Low Tech, and my academic education was of the "old" kind that sugar-coated (indoctrinated) us about "Great Men". I got to the internet late, around 2000, and rightful-President GORE's Information Superhighway, obviously/as everybody knows, was an explosion of knowledge and resources. It cracked the door wide open to the world, blah blah I'm a cliche.

And later, about 3 years ago I got into YouTube videos - history, travel, DIY, etc., and it became more educational than all of my formal academic indoctrination combined.

I've run into comments distrustful of what is out there on a lot of fronts - a doctor or two has bristled at the mention of "the internet," knee-jerking to the effect that it is *COMPLETELY* false information, also at the mention, "I saw (medical blank) on Good Morning America," making them blow a gasket: " *I* am the doctor, not GMA!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*** Implied in blanket kneejerk critics of the internet and videos is the apparent belief that all of us who use it do so with zombielike sponge-minded belief, the way the Faux Propaganda Network viewers swallow what Faux tells them.

I have Critical Thinking, like anybody, and like most DUers, can sort out what's true/false, credible/unsubstantiated, b.s./not. I wouldn't post a video that I don't believe in. If I was fooled here, will need to see more proof of that. From what I've seen on her live appearances on t.v., this video of her appears totally credible. Would it being fake mean something like she delivered a speech somewhere that was cut up in this video to splice into pieces of HUCKABEE?
