While the DOJ dithers and Cankles tries to hide the DOJ Epstein files, Senator Wyden of Oregon is pushing for the release of another, possibly more informative Epstein file. That's the file of the Treasury Department's investigation into Epstein. It shows all the transactions in and out of Epstein's accounts. That's where all the answers lie. And the administration is blocking Wyden's Finance Committee access to that file as well.
From a statement from the Committee on Finance:
Epstein Was Paid Hundreds of Millions for Tax Planning Services But Was Neither an Accountant Nor a Tax Attorney; Wyden Investigation Found Evidence His Work Was Never Audited or Investigated.

WHY?
From another Finance Committee statement:
(Bolding is mine.)Somewhere in the Treasury Department, locked away in a cabinet drawer, is a big Epstein file thats full of actionable information -- follow the money details about his financing and operations that await investigation.
...
Treasurys Epstein file details 4,725 wire transfers adding up to nearly $1.1 billion flowing in and out of just ONE of Epsteins bank accounts. If you ask me, thats 4,725 potential lines of investigation right there.
...
Hundreds of millions more flowed through other accounts -- thats even more to investigate.
...
The file shows Epstein used multiple Russian banks, which are now under sanctions, to process payments related to sex trafficking. A lot of the women and girls he targeted came from Russia, Belarus, Turkey and Turkmenistan. You shudder to think about the kinds of people who must have been involved in trafficking these women and girls out of those countries and into Epsteins web of abuse.
...
Again, these are all potential leads the Department of Justice ought to be digging into. This is about years and years of international sex trafficking. None of this is a hoax. None of it is a scam. Its insulting to the intelligence of the American people when Trump and Bondi say theres nothing here to investigate.https://www.finance.senate.gov/ranking-members-news/as-trump-downplays-epstein-wyden-unveils-details-of-treasurys-undisclosed-epstein-file
SO WHY ARE BONDI AND CANKLES REFUSING TO ACT ON WYDEN'S REQUESTS FOR THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT FILE?
Epstein was in bed with Russian banks. Epstein was trafficking girls from Russia. Epstein was best friends with Cankles. Russia openly admits they threw money, bots, and God knows what else into our elections to make Cankles win.
Cankles was in on it up to his eyeballs.

(7,970 posts)And the money that backs the power. Corrupt money at that.
Rather than cleaning up the corruption in its tracks, power juices the corruption. And power sharing must be stopped because the power must become absolute.
Think Hitler.
Epstein-Trump are the poster boys for this kind of power-induced corruption and what it can lead to.
