Do you know how insane and infuriating it is to live in a country where one party claims, with media and public support, the mantle of being the âtough on crimeâ party while its leader openly calls for convicted criminals to be released from prison âor elseâ?

(3,198 posts)Tina Peters was sentenced to 9 yrs. in prison in 2024. She had been found guilty for allowing a man to misuse a security card to access Mesa County election system and being deceptive about the man's identity. 3 counts of attempting to influence a public servant. 1 count of conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, 1st degree official misconduct, violation of duty and failing to comply with the secretary of state. The man was affiliated with Mike Lindell. She claimed to be going after fraud for the greater good. This is a cause for concern. While the article focused on the 2020 Big Lie it should have addressed the issue of tampering of EVMs for the upcoming election. Since then Mike Lindell paid 1.5 million dollars for a secret CIA software program to rig elections. There is no way that this was an isolated case. This is the scenario that Jim Baker of The Commission on Federal Election Reform warned us about. "The greatest threat to most systems is not from external hackers but insiders who have direct access to the machines. Software can be modified maliciously before being installed into individual voting machines. There is no reason to trust insiders in the election industry any more than in other industries such as gambling, where sophisticated insider fraud has occurred despite extraordinary measures to prevent it." Trump's Taj Mahal casino broke anti money laundering rules 106 times it's first year and half. First EVM came out in 1976. In 1998 settlement was the largest fine the federal government slapped on a casino. He was using slot machines to pay Russians.
