The History of Wealth Throughout History -- Sarah Cooper

I'm reposting this from struggle4progress - https://www.democraticunderground.com/100220028097.

I didn't see this earlier post and Sarah's performance is so wonderful and pointed that I thought it worth another post.

The guys who eventually mined coal and built railroads had no restrictions on kidnapping people and selling them as slaves. The 1600s, more or less. And they bought grand estates and built castles.

Are deportations a budding slavery system? Any media accounts of what happens to these people?

Yes, the misspelling is intentional.

$400,000,000 at best if they take the lump sum.
