T-rump: We don't want to be the policemen of the world BY BRETT SAMUELS - 04/30/18

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=20729427

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/385521-trump-we-dont-want-to-be-the-policemen-of-the-world/

President Trump on Monday said the U.S. should no longer serve as the “policemen of the world.”

“We more and more are not wanting to be the policemen of the world,” Trump said during a joint press conference with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We’re spending tremendous amounts of money for decades policing the world, and that shouldn’t be the priority,” he said.

Trump ran on the promise that he would extricate the U.S. from foreign wars.

But that was in the year 2018 B.C.E.

Before Caught With Epstein.

1. And what is the mission this time?

We know the mission in Venezuela. it is to grab the oil.

What is the mission in Nigeria? To be bodyguard for all the Christians in the world?

That's not what I want MY tax dollars doing.

What is the US vital interest here?

2. The mission is the Epstein Distraction Doctrine. Period. Every destructive thing he has done since January is.

Every “justification” is a lie.

That’s why he backs down. Distraction mission accomplished.

Note: this is distinct from grift. L’affaire Epstein stands to lose him his entire fortune.

3. I don't see a scenario where he loses the money he has grifted this year.

How do you see that happening?

He's not just in the files, but a business partner with JE, in a worldwide sex and blackmail empire? If he denies it, it's true.

His blackmail on the GOP AND USSC fall apart. Who grants him absolute power? A black-robed blackmail victim or 5. 6?

Not passive. Theory: he co-owned the business and had his "business" partner offed.

Mafia rules.

ETA. Left out money laundering. The money trail will get him like Al Capone, who also died of the effects of syphilis.

6. All of that is true. It has been evident for a long time. But no consequences.

There is absolutely no question in my mind:

1. Epstein, Trump and Maxwell were full partners. Epstein ran the Lolita express and island. Maxwell recruited and groomed the girls and had connections to KGB and others. And Trump recruited "all the best people" to be compromised and extorted.

2. The sex was the bait for the kompromat. The money came from extortion and money laundering. Epstein coordinated money laundering from his Wall Street connections. Trump did money laundering with through his casinos and real estate. They didn't necessarily work together on these operations, but they were working for the same circle of global oligarchs who needed to launder rubles into dollars or whatever.

3. The FBI has known about this big picture for 20 years. And the FBI first started tracking Epstein all the way back in 1996 -- nearly 30 years !!! The only consequences were for Epstein, and they were limited to sex crimes, which were only 5% of the operation. The other 95% was way too hot to handle, for the Bush administration, the Obama administration, the Trump administration and the Biden administration.

4. They couldn't blow up the whole operation because there were so many powerful people entangled, so they tried to just stop the operation by putting Epstein in prison. When they feared that Epstein was going to blow everything out into the open, that cost him his life. He was killed in an operation just as clumsy and ham-handed as the Jack Ruby killing of Oswald. But the Ruby killing worked. 60 years later, the American people have still not been told the truth about the Kennedy assassination, and never will. When the consequences are this big, they can make the cover-ups work.

That's just how it is. I don't see how Trump pays any price because to get Trump, you have to expose all those other powerful people, and that won't happen.

7. He is outliving his usefulness, and is dying anyway. It's the rest that need exposing and will change the "world order"

or at least turn it over for another round of scoundrels.

I mean world "leaders", supreme court ":justices", business giants.

The next generation of SUCCESSFUL Democrats will FINALLY run against the oligarchy (which will make them successful). Previous ones fully supported it (Does the name Merrick Garland strike a familiar note?)

And THAT is why people say there's no difference between parties despite a monster philosophical gap.

Who won WWII? Krupp, Farben and others.
Oligarchy plus hate filled populism.
Fascist playbook.

Elephant in the room? Extreme wealth concentration.
And only a few hammer that point.

8. Well, Merrick Garland was not a Democrat, or a small "d" democrat

The most revealing fact about our so-called 2-party system is that there has Never been a Democrat confirmed as the head of the FBI. Democratic Presidents have nominated Republicans to that job EVeRY SINGLE TIME. Can somebody explain that?

Obama nominated Garland to the SCOTUS because he thought that Republicans would confirm what seemed to be a middle-of--the-road REPUBLICAN. Biden doubled down on that mistake by making him AG.

I 100% agree with you. Dems -- or should we say, progressive-minded people (we can't count on this party ever changing) will never be in a position to change the important things until we can run candidates that will openly and forcefully stand up to the entrenched oligarchy.. It can be done. Mamdani won his election on that basis and is surviving.

The primary process is rigged to serve the party bosses. The power center in the GOP has shifted far to the right, and that's what their primaries deliver. The power center in the Dem party is very much status quo --- much more like Obama and Manchin than AOC and Newsom. That primary process may be our greatest barrier to reaching a governing majority.
