My spouse wants to donate to the ACLU but is concerned about his name going on a Trump "list" that will later result in arrests. Legitimate concern?

4. Never, ever talk to the cops w/o a lawyer present, exert your 5th Amendment right by saying "I don't answer questions",

and always, always exert your 1st and 4th Amendment rights.
And, I can't stress this enough, always film the cops, if you don't, sure as hell, they'll violate your Constitutional rights and it ends up your word against theirs and we all know who the courts are going to believe.

14. One good thing about this ICE stuff

We are learning that police departments far and wide have been operating beyond their authority. This is an opportunity for EVERYONE to learn their rights and how to interact with police.
