I screamed about that when it happened and crickets. NOBODY CARED... This is why the orange man with the blond squirl on his head doesn't care how much he hurts the American People as long as his family and friends are making money...

How much Elon and starlink altered data packages may never be known.

But there is a nonzero chance that the son of a Nazi collaborator helped the son of another Nazi collaborator to win the election.

Vote counting machines are purchased at the local level - state or county (which entity varies from state to state). Each jurisdiction owns their own machines. Several manufacturers provide the machines which are purchased by the local jurisdictions, so even at the vendor level, there is not one vendor which provides the machines which counts the votes.

some companies have track records where their machine tallies match exit polls exactly, and some companies have machines that have been way off from the exit polls. You probably noticed this, because all of a sudden the government and media let us know that exit polls are unreliable. This was covered extensively here on DU after the 2004 election.

It's too bad Google won't give results from left wing media, so we can't search for articles about this now.

But the fact that you reference companies (plural) is the point I was making. There is not one company whose machines count the votes.

As for conspiracy theories, the proponent of such theories changes whenever the presidency changes parties. Same theories, different proponent. They are not more true when we tout them than they were in 2020 when Trump touted the exact same theories.

Exit polls only indicate election fraud. For example, exit polls differed, by more than the margin of error, from official results in 17 states in 2004. In 16 of those states, the official results favored W over Kerry. In 15 of those states, the winner was changed. See the book Was The 2004 Presidential Election Stolen? by Freeman.

To prove election fraud, the gold standard is to have hand counted recounts of paper ballots. As I'm sure you know, Republicans demanded hand counted paper ballot recounts in 2020. The recounts, in several states, showed Biden gaining votes. The recounts proved that election fraud did not change the results of the 2020 presidential election. In 2016, hand counted paper ballot recounts were sought in three swing states, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Republicans fought tooth and nail against these recounts, and while the recounts were paid for, they were not done. Thus, there is no proof that election fraud did or did not change the results of the 2016 presidential election. There were no hand counted paper ballot recounts requested, or done statewide, in the 2024 election. Again, no one can show proof that the 2024 presidential election was not changed by election fraud, either by only one company, or more than one company.

And yes, there are a handful of companies that make machines to electronically count our votes. In individual states, more than one company may make machines that count votes. But only a few companies make these machines. Central tabulators take data from throughout a state and give a total count for a state. There is communication between these steps in the process. Any one company could cause a problem that changes the result of an election. You must be familiar with Volusia County, Florida, in 2000.
Volusia error - Wikipedia https://share.google/xZGYH6rYWfMfI4nxZ

What happened in Volusia County doesn't prove that Gore won the 2000 election (the media recount did that), but it showed that errors in machine counted totals could easily change an election. A hand counted paper ballot recount is the only proof that machines did not change an election.

Certainly Republicans use more than one way to cheat and win elections. I assume you have read The Conyers Report. But unless we can prove that nowhere in the machine count any numbers were changed, as in Volusia County, then the possibility remains. As detailed by Election Truth Alliance on their website, Republicans may be controlling enough machines and/or tabulators and/or communication to spread out an alteration of in-person, election day results (as opposed to mail in or early voting). Whether this involves one company or more than one is immaterial, this indicates election fraud, and demands proof either way.
