the default, cringe pose of "I must support Tough Military Action because I am Tough" is both morally wrong and bad politics

Remember, before the election:

Mainstream Media Refused to Report Trump's Bombshell Quid Pro Quo Offer to Big Oil Execs

Looking back, it's odd to see so many posters irate with me for mentioning the lack of nooze kkkoverage.

Then Musk got his greasy hands on the election and POOF! There goes democracy.

From Energy Infrastructure:

The oil and natural gas industry directly employs almost 2.6 million Americans and supports 9.8 million jobs in America, representing 5.6% of total U.S. employment. For every 1 person directly employed by the U.S. oil and gas industry, an additional 2.8 jobs are supported throughout the economy.

Source: https://www.energyinfrastructure.org/energy-101/jobs#:~:text=The%20oil%20and%20natural%20gas,are%20supported%20throughout%20the%20economy.

Rounding off, that's about 6 percent. What a coincidence!

....that everyone who works in the oil, gas, refining industries support the US making decisions for Venezuela?
All of them?
That seems quite ridiculous.
Sometimes a coincidence is just two sets of data coinciding with no causal relationship.

I know people who work for Big Oil who are good people. However, I found it interesting that the percentage supporting Trump's actions in Venezuela is a close match for the percentage of Americans who work in the energy sector.

No wonder the US’s first sneak attack on a developing nation was directed from a blanket fort in the fancy eating room of Mar-a-sinkhole.
