If POTUS sends in troops. He will nationalize the Guard and u put it under unified leadership.

4. The National Guard is not going to fight the Army

They're not even going to stop ICE.

They'll assist local PD in crowd disbursement and control, establishing barriers, etc.

I won't say Trump won't actually send the Army in, but if he does they will be working alongside National Guard. Walz can not declare war on the US Army, and Trump can not declare war on the MN National Guard. The absurdity and illegality of such an order aside, this would be ignoring the reality that many National Guardsmen are active duty Army veterans who continued on in the NG after service to retain benefits and accrue service time to credit toward retirement.
