"Even if" SCOTUS finds Trump's tariffs "unconstitutional," he has plans to add new tariffs to "start the next day"

Trump has a plan for an instant strike back if the Supreme Court rules against his tariffs, according to a report Monday.

In an interview with The New York Times, the United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer — Trump's top trade negotiator — revealed that the president intends to impose tariffs no matter what. And even if the high court's ruling does not favor his current trade policies, he has readied actions to put levies in place to replace them "almost immediately."

Even if the Supreme Court rules his tariffs unconstitutional in its ruling, which could come as soon as Tuesday, Trump has plans to add new tariffs to “start the next day” and “to respond to the problems the president has identified," Greer told The Times.

He delays in the court and now a year of tariff damage has been done. Rinse and repeat.

The courts taken far too long to react to things of this magnitude and urgency.

He does something unauthorized on a flimsy pretense. Courts maybe knock it down months and months later.

He just does it again with a slightly different pretense. That gives him whole new timeline in which to commit the same illegality. Repeat ad nauseum, or at least until his term expires.

Tyranny requires people to fight back strongly and swiftly, and the courts are not set up for that, certainly not when headed by a majority of Nazis.

New tariffs shouldn’t be retroactive. He should be forced to pay back the money, which will be a huge slap in the face.

when will drumpf be issuing refund checks from the "tariff shelf" to the american people? I was illegal taxed and the proceeds of that are sitting in the US Treasury right now. Yes importers paid the tax, but they passed that on to consumers, so we ultimately paid it.
