We Are The World

Had a long drive to an out-of-state dr. appt. yesterday, and We Are The World came on and I had a thought...

What if today's musicians from outside the US came together to call attention to what's going on here the way we did for Africa? How awesome would that be to draw attention to how the US is perceived by the rest of the world?

Then of course, I started thinking of who should be included. Feel free to add...

Coldplay
U2
The Weeknd
Justin Bieber
Adele
Daft Punk
Rihanna
Shakira
BTS
EJAE
Rose'
Ed Sheeran
Drake
AC/DC
Keith Urban
Any Marley
ABBA

Would speak to millions who avoid the news and politics.

My suggestion: Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Both in their 80's and advocating for peace, love and a better world since their teen years.

spread "awareness" or "draw attention" like that anymore, and performers are much more careful about the causes they get involved in.
