Nice try Fox News!

You can’t be so stupid can you?

Wait! Yes you can!

You thought you could try to get away with a simple stunt?

Wait! Yes you did!

The footage of Trump wearing a baseball cap in one video then showing another video of him not wearing a baseball cap at two different Dignified Transfers is absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful to the fallen.

Especially when you had to further the lie by trying to convince your mistake by saying that it was the wrong video.

Those soldiers deserved a better show of respect by the fool who got them killed. It’s a show from Trump to his base. Even JD Vance got in to the act.

This was a farce. As I said before “the soldiers deserved better” and yet these 2 clowns undignified their actions. Oh by the way? Where was Hegseth? I didn’t see him there. The 1st footage was a close up of Trump and the second was wider video and the second video had Trump wearing black gloves.

You call yourself as a news outlet but you are a true Trump propagandist outlet where as you know the truth but cover up the truth by telling another lie!

That is hypocritical of your position and total disregard for reality.

You can’t stand there and choose to lie when there is proof of anything that is true. Other media outlets saw the same thing on that tarmac & they didn’t change the video for another one.

So, you are failing miserably and your own lies are what triggers Trump’s lies even more. Stop with the BS! Show some respect for the fallen soldiers and respect the public.

And if they did, considering the current administration, they would censor Democratic-friendly networks such as MS NOW.

I'm not in favor of the government censoring networks, even Fox News, but boycotts are a thing.

How many times has Faux News "misidentified" Republicans in trouble as Democrats? It was just an accident!

Here is the pattern: Fox deliberately covers for Republicans and waits a bit to apologize for the "mistake." Meanwhile, the intended deception has already served its purpose.

When (if - and I hope the word "if" is not necessary) sane legislators take over again, there MUST be some type of action to reign in the purveyors of deliberately false information. Reagan really f***ed things up when he obliterated the Fairness Doctrine back in the 80s. We need a modern equivalent which also addresses cable networks and the internet.

Doing something through some government sanctioned activity or governing body. Trump just used the an executive branch to take over these boards and do his bidding like the Kennedy Center. We’ve given WAY too much power to our politicians IMHO.

While no system is perfect, some academic or truly public foundation would be a better “policing” entity in my opinion. Even if it’s handing out something like a razzie award or something like the “Kim Jong Un Dear Leader Excellence In Propaganda Award” to publicly shame journalists and network organizations.

I'm sorry but I simply cannot agree to that. It's an established fact that companies will do whatever they please as long as it's profitable regardless of ethical concerns. Somebody will always be angry at whatever decision is made. Therefore the path to most profitability is most often the chosen one even if it's unethical. The leaders at Fox KNOW they are lying. But they do whatever keeps eyes on their channel. Unless there is a tangible threat that "Your license will be removed," or something else that will hurt them badly, why should they stop? This is why OSHA exists. And as a former journalist who now works with a large company, I know firsthand the fear that companies have of OSHA. And I have no doubt were it not for OSHA, there would be many more workplace injuries and deaths.

And this is why I used the term "sane people." Leaders need to let these organizations operate independently of political concerns.

13. And That's Why Faux News

Has been sued multiple times for false reporting. While they didn’t lose by admitting guilt their settling out of court pretty much is an admission of guilt as far as most people are concerned. And these actions were completely outside of the government regulatory realm.

I don’t trust politicians to do the right thing. Revoking broadcast licenses is just about as likely on the left as the right; more so on the left if you give politicians that authority.

Trump and the well connected are more apt to dismantle things if you give them an opportunity to corrupt systems where you concentrate power in small groups. I prefer smaller more diluted power structures that are hard to hijack. Nothing is perfect but big power structures are scary in my mind.

After all this they are still broadcasting their lies. So clearly all those lawsuits changed nothing.

This isn't enough.

right to lie. The government can't stop you from lying. Giving politicians and the government that ability to identify and prohibit you from stating your opinion is chilling. If it can be used against Faux news, it can be used against anybody. And the current climate is an obvious example of the right doing something they accuse the left of doing (subverting people's ability to draw their own conclusions and speak out).

We the people have the right and responsibility to call out people, companies and governments that lie and cause people harm. It's a shared responsibility, not something we can delegate to someone else. While frustrating, I'm not all that confident this is something I want to grant some government appointed panel the power to decide.

And I've seen plenty of left-leaning folks go on Faux news and try and confront their hosts. More power to them; I'm not that smart to think that quickly on my feet. It's not for everybody, but if we or people who share are views don't go into these arenas, then echo boxes develop and bad things happen.

dangerous DJT is, yet Murdoch's Fox network shills for him so Fox doesn't lose viewers to Newsmax and One America. Murdoch will help Trump, a person that he loathes, destroy the world so he can maintain his quarterly profits. I guess Rupert who's 94, really thinks he can take it with him.

Sometimes I think there's no hope for the human species. It's depressing.
