Had the decency to send herself to Iraq as the last duty she did before retirement. Pack your bag and head on over. I assume exposing yourself to enemy fire to communicate means wagging your dick from a very safe distance away. Think about educating yourself in defense, war and terrorism before accepting a job completely out of your league. Save us all from the heartache!

Most of us never heard our parents talk of WWII. I looked through my Dad's Guadalcanal cruise book.
I wouldn't want those memories being freshened up every day. Later wars, same thing.
Only pretend soldiers like Mullin, Lindsey, Rubio and JD play daily war games. Crush, kill, destroy was a television Sci Fi line. Listen to Lindsey talk about Cuba.
Hegsbreath is a coward and chump is a draft dodger!

Vets talk to vets who can relate.
They don't grab a soapbox and pontificate to anyone who will listen.

Went to the VA yesterday. Since they are forced to display chump, vance and ? I saluted as I always do.

An Associate's Degree is what you get if you plan on working for a living. Not if you're a rich-boy son of pampered privilege who wants to make a career of politics. It's wholly extraneous and valueless in that context. Why bother?

The saying isn't "I will lead the breach", it's "I will stand in the breach".

It's a biblical quote (Ezekiel 22:30). Of course he would be entirely unfamiliar with it. It means to stand in the gap of a failed defense, to be willing to put your life on the line on behalf of a greater cause.

"Breach" = gap, or fracture. He's basically saying that he will lead the failure. So I suppose he could be inadvertently making an honest statement.

But even as I type that, I wonder if it's as obvious as I think. Maybe in his poor, overheated, confused mind, he was thinking of leading the defense of the breach. Which doesn't even have a name.

breach
/brēch/
noun
An opening, tear, or rupture.
A gap or rift, especially in a solid structure such as a dike or fortification.
A violation or infraction, as of a contract, law, legal obligation, or promise.

You are going to "lead" that? Trump already leads the legal violation of contracts, obligation or promises. Hegadeth is storming the rupture that Trump and Bibi caused.

The gap you are filling was left by Kristi Noem. I don't think you quite understand the complete inanity of your tweet.

These people have some pumped-up, Hollywood/video game idea of military service and war. Of course, it's also the vision that the media loves to promulgate. They have no concept of the difference between a soldier and a warrior, and think every one of the former should also be the latter. Yeah, there are actual military professionals who also spew the same bullshit, but most professionals must wince at such ignorant blowhards.

68. There is a lot of confusion
Tue Mar 10, 2026, 05:21 PM

with respect to the terms 'warrior' and 'soldier'. To me, the first term refers to someone who fights for his personal glory without regard to how his/her actions might affect the larger conflict. For them, it's irrelevant if their side wins or loses as long as they can point to some "glorious victory" they achieved on the battlefield. The soldier, on the other hand, is concerned with achieving victory for his/her side irrespective of their own efforts. So, for them, being tasked with hauling ammo to the front lines is just as important as the guys actually engaged in fighting. Or, to put it another way, the difference being a gloryhound versus putting your ass on the line with no thought of recognition beyond the thanks of your comrades. Or even more succinctly, the difference in George Armstrong Custer and Sgt. Alvin York.
