Gemini: English Dissenters (16th–19th centuries) were Protestants who refused to conform to the Church of England's doctrines and structure. They faced intense persecution, especially during the Restoration (1660s-1670s), with over 8,000 imprisoned. Key acts, such as the Clarendon Code, banned nonconformist meetings, restricted public office, and forced them to use the Book of Common Prayer.

True Believers. When they capture the government everyone else is on the outside and intolerance prevails. Such was the case that drove a slew of Dissenter sects to the New World.
