the Strait of Hormuz from Russia and/or China?

Well, Russia, OK. They're making money with the status quo. But OTOH, Putin's supposed to be the BFF of Trump. How about a favor?

Iran is shipping more oil to China now than before the war.

Only Iran's enemies are denied passage.

I hear that the going price to get through the strait is 2 million dollars per ship, quite the toll lane.

I bet if a Democrat were president, gasoline prices would be much higher. (the invisible hand of the market)
