Look at this photo from yesterday's No Kings protest

Is there an image that better captures the gestalt of 2026? I don’t think so.

In addition to the broader imagery, look at her face. She will not defeated. We shall indeed overcome. But the arc of history doesn’t bend towards justice on its own. Make whatever waves are available to you. Hate is not sustainable in the face of love. Joy is the ultimate act of resistance.

The pic reminds me of the other woman as the Statue of Liberty getting arrested a few years ago. Atlanta? May have won awards? Couldn't find the pic, though.
