(114,695 posts)when the first of Mel Gibson's two parter detailing the suppressed books of the bible that were dumped by Rome but preserved in Ethiopia comes out. Gibson will be lucky to live long enough to see the second one make its premier.
The Scandi Jesus/god was a white male who wrote the bible in English crowd are really going to lose their shit.

(114,695 posts)is that the oldest copy of the Book of Enoch from the Dead Sea Scrolls predates that, probably dating to the late third century/early second century BCE. The copies in Ethiopia track very well with these early texts, meaning that once they were translated, the scribes did their jobs well.

(26,492 posts)is historically incorrect.
When Jesus was born, and for over a century afterward, the land was still called Judea, the southern remnant of what was once the kingdom of Israel.
The name "Palestine" was given to the area by Rome after Jewish uprisings for independence were crushed. Romans tried to obliterate Jewish identity by renaming the land Palestina, which was Latin for Philistine, long time enemies of the kingdom of Israel and its remaining remnant of Judea at the time of the Roman Empire.
So Jesus was born in the nation of Judea, under Roman rule, which was not called Palestine until 135 years after Jesus' time. .
