The Peace Deal That Krasnov Is Touting Is Different Than What Iran Is Saying

I mean on almost every issue, what Iran is saying is different than what Krasnov is saying.

The strait of Hormuz will not be immediately reopened to pre-war travel. Ships passing through Hormuz must get permission from Iran to get safe passage.

The nuclear issue, according to Iran will be negotiated at a later date.

Unfreezing Iran's money must be done immediately according to Iran, according to Krasnov is will only be conditionally released.

Iran wants the war in Lebanon to cease, but Krasnov claims that is up to Israel.

The US must end its blockade immediately before Iran starts opening up Hormuz, but Krasnov says the blockade will only be removed after Iran allows ships to pass.

Go down the list, issue by issue and there is disagreement on every issue.

This so-called agreement got the price of crude to drop. Who shorted the market?

12. A reminder, Republicans had a hissy fit over Iran receiving $1.7 billion (in unfrozen assets) from Obama's deal.

Trump will now give Iran $370 billion - that's 218 times as much money as was in the Obama deal. So I'm sure Republicans will now be 218 times as outraged about this deal as they were Obama's, right? right?

The pallets of foreign currency will not go over well IF we get a look at them. MAGA heads couldn’t handle it IF they even remember.

Iran is cut off from the world banking system and can’t hold any US currency.

Otherwise, when congress returns from recess, they will pass the War Powers resolution requiring troops be removed from the region.

And Trump knows it.

And so does Iran.

8. What happens when US navy vessels head to our base in Bahrain after a cease fire & Iran attacks them?

The primary U.S. naval presence in the Persian Gulf is centered at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain. Located in the Kingdom of Bahrain, it serves as the headquarters for the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) and the U.S. Fifth Fleet

There’s already a ceasefire in place- has the US base in Bahrain been attacked?

No, I expect if the US removes the blockade, and doesn’t launch any further attacks on Iran, then Iran will hold their fire as well. Why wouldn’t they? They are going to end up with more than they had before the war, minus a few leaders and schoolgirls, but plus several hundred billion dollars and with about the same amount of uranium as before.

Now, Israel and Lebanon are another matter entirely…

7. Trump is preparing his cult to see his capitulation as a victory.

He and his minions are psychologically incapable of ever admitting defeat or even a draw. That’s a critical flaw and the core of why they are incapable of learning anything and personal growth.

It’s obvious to the rest of the world that the US has nothing to do with any eventual agreement. Trump’s trying to get out in front of the news so he can claim to be instrumental in the development. Even though all he’s been is an obstruction.

It will never work. Those are international waters and will create a bad global precedent.

14. The price of oil is holding steady for the past week according to AAA.

https://gasprices.aaa.com/

I don't see it going down until we have an actual agreement. Even then, the oil pipeline is just about empty, so it's going to take a while for things to get better.
I'm sure the "plan" is for prices to drop below $4.00 by mid-summer, and $3.50 by the fall election.
The media will praise Trump's negotiation skills, when all he will have done is bring things back to where they were before he attacked Iran, except for a badly damaged economy.
And, of course, our military will be out $50 billion or more, farmers will get crushed for both fuel and fertilizer right during the growing season, the cost of goods will have soared, and we'll get the bill for all this stupidity.

But the good news for republicans is that the MAGATS will have forgotten all about it by election time...at least that's the plan.
