Does Texas not have term limits?

How long has Hot Wheels been governor? It seems like forever, and he's running again. Am I mistaken, or is the term longer than 4 years, or do they not have term limits like any sensnsible state?

Longest serving gov was that idgit rick perry. Continued the job started by g.w. of turning texass into a third world country. abbott will probably get reelected, as the repukes love them a third world country.
