Blanche says he is not committing to putting anything in writing about the slush fund

He just flat out refused to do so during his hearing. He played dumb for a while and said what would be the point of putting it in writing? So the Dem (Meng) said, well, you announced the fund in writing, so it would make sense to withdraw it in writing.

Making sense does not seem to be in this guy's wheelhouse because he responded flat out that he would not be putting anything in writing.

So R's who have been taking baby steps to stand up to this administration, I am talking to you. If you don't force a written agreement from trump's personal lawyer and just trust him, we will know that your baby steps were just fake outs. And you can own this during the midterms.

If he's smart and doesn't want to face immediate disbarment once he's out of power, he would have been smart not to sign off on the agreement itself. But he's such a Trump ass-sniffer that he has abandoned whatever general scruples and lawyer ethics he once possessed.
