and ordering from there), i have yet to see a decent, public alternative to facebook suggested. My space? That has become mostly artists, with emphasis on music, and they seem to resent anyone who isn't an artist being there. The only other alternatives that i know of are private groups, and to get into one of them, you have be invited if you aren't the person who started it.
