in the 20s, 30s and 40s and none of them pursued the simple expedient of firing a bullet into Hitler's brain.
There had been 8 attempts on Hitler's life, the last one being the most (in)famous. All were just a little too elegant to succeed and none of them had the slightest possibility of ending it as quickly and finally as shooting him. Not unt the Red Army was closing in on his bunker in Berlin was it finally ended in just that way.
As it is with Fatso. I think it's human nature to think it's not really that bad, that there is likely a lower risk, more legal way of getting rid of a madman when legislatures and courts are either hoplessly corrupt and/or doing serious foot dragging because they're afraid of consequences, too.
Please understand II am not advocating political violence. In the first place, it won't work and will produce one or more martyrs to causes that will be quickly co-opted and used against us. In the second place, we can all grow old and die waiting for it to happen via someone who has both opportunity and means. Third, there is the law of unforeseen consequences, something that always bites us hard in tender places. What I'm saying is that it is extremely unlikely this will be ended quickly and with fiunality because it has usually failed to happen that way, not even with the worst monster we know of in oral or written history.
At least this monster is distractible, especially when he's flying into a rage over something trivial. He can be led into fake meetings while the real ones go on without him. Perhaps that's the best we can expect right now, while the cash flow is so positive and no one has enough to involke Article 25.
