I imagine she will get by beaten badly by whomever they come up with to run against her. It's a cult and South Carolina is the center of it, just like in the lead up to the Civil War.

The nation needs her. DU from 2022:

NAZI GOP signals time for Civil War.

Like their gun worshipping hero Adolf Hitler, today’s Republicans want to take the country down the Dead Ender path. THIS was during a hearing on STOPPING GUN VIOLENCE AT SCHOOLS!

'Whatever I want with my guns': GOP lawmaker pulls out handguns during House hearing on gun control

Candy Woodall
USA TODAY, June 2, 2022

WASHINGTON – Florida Congressman Greg Steube pulled out multiple handguns during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday aimed at curbing mass shootings.

The Republican congressman appeared by video conference from his Florida home, arguing that Democrats are trying to strip Americans' constitutional right to bear arms by restricting the ammunition they use.

"Don't let them fool you that they're not attempting to take away your ability to purchase handguns," Steube said. "They are using the magazine ban to do it."

The congressman said his Sig Sauer P365 XL comes with a 15-round magazine and would be banned if the Democrats' "Protecting Our Kids Act" passes. The congressman also said the Glock 19 would be banned.

Snip…

The display of weapons added to the tension of a legislative hearing packed with partisan and personal broadsides over an issue that has deeply divided Ameicans (sic).

Continues…

Rhetorical Question for South Carolina:

Do you want public safety?

And every glowing thing she wrote about him is complete bullshit. He was one of the most reprehensible humans to ever live in recent times. A power grabbing piece of shit who deserves nothing but our scorn, even in death. Lucky for me I don't have to "take the high road" and can type the truth. In my mind, it's the truth that sets us free, not plaudits we don't mean or believe.

That’s why I still post the truth about these reprehensible NAZI bastards and all they work for. However, if I was running for Senate, I’d hope my advisors were willing to tell me to “cool it” when I have a chance to pick up voters from the other side.

The man was a self loathing closeted hypocrite who attached himself to the powerful like a deer tick.

There was no friendship just business relationships that were two way uses that both parties strive for money and political power.

He rubber stamped everything that Trump wanted in healthcare.

He did not join his friend, John McCain, in voting no against repeal of ACA.

Trump's deplorable "I'm glad he's dead" post about Robert Mueller is public record, and it needs to be out all over the place now. Contrast it with these gracious words, and any human being who has a trace of decency in their character can clearly see the difference.

It's hard to resist the temptation to trash talk, especially with McConnell also hiding out and all that's going on there. What decent South Carolinians need to do is recognize the character being shown here and elect this woman to the Senate.

Please, Dr. an adjective is needed. His self-service… If there was ever a man putting their interests above SC or the country it was this sycophant, only rivaled by the COSI (Chief of Self Interest) a name we see plastered on everything that starts with an overcapitalized T.

Graham's open Senate seat in November's general election. The deadline for a special primary is August 11, it's probably going to be messy given the tight schedule. Creating goodwill among unhappy Republican voters will help if there's of a lot of intra-party GOP infighting, or if Trump endorses another lunatic to run for Graham's seat.

Man, she didn't even say she was glad he was dead!!! Too bad Trump can't take note when he posts about a death of someone he opposes.

In all seriousness, I would expect nothing less from a Democrat. There is a stark difference in the way we do things, and I am glad we still have class and dignity.

My condolences to Mr. Graham's family, friends, and colleagues.

No one believes these comments are even sincere, even if they are. I think democrats are trying to be as respectful and dignified as possible but I’m not sure if this really resonates as much as they think.

People claim they want less partisanship, yet look where we’ve come.. Trump would never have come to power if that were really the case.

Don’t get me wrong she can’t just come out and say, “ding dong the witch is dead. Fuck him”, but this kinda praising is a bit nauseating and frankly is also bullshit.

Talking about "partisanship" like we ARE NOT in a right wing coup/dictatorship makes it seem like the US isn't a failed state.

MAGAts take no prisoners, are engaged in massive theft of taxypayer money, people are getting shot by federal agents/contractors in the streets? They don't believe in partisanship, they believe in rape and coercion.
