Senator Warnock re: DJT's speech tonight

'Senator Warnock offered this statement on Trump’s speech:

“Donald Trump lost Georgia in 2020. “That’s not my opinion, it’s a fact. The votes were counted, recounted, audited, and litigated. He lost, he lost, he lost. But this really isn’t about 2020. It’s about 2026. He is trying to sow doubt on the integrity of our elections in Georgia so that he can create the pretext to interfere in 2026. This president is a liar, a cheater, and a fraud. And he has shown us over and over again that staying in power matters more to him than anything else'

Sad that such a clear, forthright, honest man must waste his eloquent words reminding us, taking the time to state in terms we all can understand. Yes, Senator Warnock keep reminding the world and never accept the lies spewed forth by this minister of falsehoods.

He can blather on all he wants. It won't change election results. What might happen is Donnie, Mikie Johnson and other fascist Republicans (redundant, I know) try to gum up the works in swearing in the 120th Congress with claims of widespread election fraud. I'm not sure how they would do that, but I fear we are going to learn all about the intricacies of swearing in a new Congress between now and Jan 3, 2027. It's going to be an ugly time.

before swearing in Grijalva, didn't they? I figure they think they could that "en masse" and just continue with a de facto 119th Congress. Never mind it's not legal. Who in the Republican administration cares about little things like legalities and the constitution?! /snark

... He showed us that he doesn't give a shit about the will of the people.

He knows he lost in 2020. He knew it before the election because he saw all the polls. It didn't matter because he thinks if he lies and keeps on lying that he'll eventually convince us that he won. He lost.... The end....

Now it's time for him to shut the fuck up. Georgia can convict Chump for election meddling and attempted fraud because they have the witnesses and the evidence. Convict him in Georgia and lock him up. The Supreme Court can't save him.

One of the worst/best things he has done, he turned the Republican Party into sniveling cowards. He’s a bully that has cowed our government.

We have seize back that playground from that blustering, loudmouth bully.

to support even a tiny piece of his claims, because there aren't any. I quit watching after his ridiculous claims about the economy.
With only a 37% approval even some of his supporters must have realized that he is straight up lying about the economy and inflation. More of his deranged temper tantrum will not fix it.
The Iran war has cost all of us lots of money-- spent foolishly to first start a war and then to buy our way out of it--and it's far from over.
I figure that some of you on DU will force yourself to watch the lying fool and inform the rest of us. I'm done with his rants.

He doesn't care about the political power. It is all about money, his ego (all this renaming and "rebuilding" ) and staying out of prison. And the power gives him the chance to grift way better than without the presidency.
