ICE OUT FOR GOOD, Funding Ends Feb. 1st, Call for Action

I received this text from Indivisibles today:

Indivisibles: We have an opportunity, this month, to rein in ICE's lawlessness nationwide.

ICE and Border Patrol are part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which is currently funded only through January 30.

The new funding bill that's currently being written is our opportunity to put significant restrictions on ICE and ensure it doesn't get a single penny more to enable its brutality.

This bill cannot pass without Dem votes in the Senate, so we have real leverage here. But we need to act fast, and we need to be loud.

✅ Limits DHS's reprogramming and transfer authority

If they only need a simple majority (if they get rid of the filibuster for this one), what can stop it?

4. Thank you for your hard citizen work

They are kidnapping US citizens as well. They are kicking down doors of US citizens and immigrants without warrants and kidnapping people from inside homes. Human beings are dying in their "custody".

I wished someone created a website to post all the shocking videos of ICE's abuse. Dems? DNC?
