UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE: General Discussion is temporarily shut down while we work on an issue

Hi everyone,

We have had an unexpected problem with the General Discussion forum caused by an error during routine maintenance, and we have had to shut down General Discussion while we work on a fix. We're not sure how long this will take, but hopefully not long.

This has not been caused by an outside actor -- we have not been hacked.

We will let you know when we have further information. In the meantime, all the other forums and groups should be operating normally.

We apologize for the inconvenience!
