Scheduled downtime TONIGHT 1am EST for maintenance

DU will be unavailable starting around 1am EST tonight for routine maintenance. We don't expect this downtime to last more than one hour, but probably much less.

which, I would hazard a guess, is why it's scheduled for such a late, or early, hour, depending upon where you are.

I am often up until the wee hours of the morning and have been known to enjoy DU posts at 1:00 a.m., so I will make a note of this.
