Source: ABC News

Just days later, the mayor received an invitation to the presidential inauguration and dropped his scheduled plans for Martin Luther King, Jr Day to attend the ceremony.

But Adams says the values originally touted by the Democratic Party no longer exist.

But anyone can call themselves a Democrat at election time; and if they have someone to buy them enough speech, they can win sometimes.

Mayor Bass over Caruso. He thought by changing his party affiliation he would be able to slither in. Good luck getting rid of Adams.

I understand Caruso is starting a big-budget campaign to have Bass recalled, due to her failure to prevent the wildfires.

in when Gray Davis was recalled. That sure ticked off some people that had plans for that office, like Darryl Izza.
I thought Caruso's Palisades shopping center was destroyed in the fire, but I later heard a report that he hired private firefighters to save the structures. He may try for Governor instead of Mayor. Another guy that had a rich daddy.

Adams expects the Democratic Party to defend and prop him up?

The Party knows when to stay in the background. That's how his predecessor, Bill DeBlasio, lost support. And Congressman Anthony Weiner. Nothing personal. It's politics.

The further rwnj sink, the more important it is to vet Dem candidates and make sure they don't regard politics as an anything goes gravvy train.
