Al Gore compares Trump team to Nazi Germany saying they are 'trying to create their own preferred version of reality'

Source: Independent

Former vice president Al Gore lashed out at the Trump administration in a fiery speech about the climate crisis, comparing its attempts to “create their own preferred version of reality” to that of Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich.

“It was [Jürgen] Habermas’ mentor, Theodore Adorno, who wrote that the first step in that nation’s descent into hell was, and I quote, ‘The conversion of all questions of truth into questions of power,”’ Gore said, according to Politico.

“He described how the Nazis, and I quote again, ‘attacked the very heart of the distinction between true and false.’ End quote. The Trump administration is insisting on trying to create their own preferred version of reality,” Gore said.

“I understand very well why it is wrong to compare Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich to any other movement,” Gore told the audience. “It was uniquely evil, full stop. I get it. But there are important lessons from the history of that emergent evil.”

The first major move was in 1980, when the HWBush CABAL, committed TREASON to corrupt the presidential election so they could "install" Reagan in the White House......Reagan was just a pawn, no different than WBush. HW and his CABAL were working at Warp Speed to destroy the middle class, and enrich the upper 1%, but it was all done in the shadows using smoke and mirrors to hide what they were doing........

I will order a copy the minute I finish this thank you............regretfully, I was cursed with an excellent memory, and rarely run into ANYONE who was paying attention to HW and Reagan back then, or even anything since for that matter......

I have been saying all along that the perfect Title for a book about the past 45+ years would be:

WHILE THE NATION SLEPT

Everyone has been walking down the Jungle Path, swatting at mosquitoes, and were oblivious to the herd of charging "elephants"....

I just thought Al's words should have reflected a little more about history especially in his case.

The U.S. Supreme Court had not a single legal or Constitutional right to grant them the right or standing to interfere in that Florida matter in 2000.
