Airport Workers On Strike to get ICE out of Minnesota

This is huge! Didn't know if all the restaurants and smaller businesses on closing strike today would make a significant difference -- but this sure as hell will!

Actually surprised they have focused on airports more if I'm being honest. .

We need other airports to do the same, as well as well as anyone dealing with transportation or lodging.

27. UPDATE
Fri Jan 23, 2026, 01:49 PM
Jan 23

Peaceful clergy members protesting peacefully are being arrested by Airport Police (not ICE)

The live feed is down at the moment while they recharge the video equipment (it's like -25F outside) but a row consisting of dozens -- likely a hundred or more -- peaceful clergy members from Minnesota churches are sitting down in front of the main MSP airport entrance, reading aloud the names of innocent citizens who have been arrested and harassed by ICE, singing songs of hope and brotherhood/sisterhood, and cheered on by hundreds of airport workers.

It's surreal -- police arresting these peaceful, goodwill ambassadors while the criminals of ICE illegally terrorize the streets.

It feels like a turning moment. EVERYBODY knows these clergy members are speaking the truth.

So far the demonstration and arrests have been peaceful -- no violence on either side other than the police and airport security arresting each minister one by one and putting them into school busses.

But it is becoming crystal clear who the enemy is.

Here's one local report:

https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/clergy-members-arrested-minneapolis-st-paul-international-airport/

The optics of arresting peaceful clergy members while the city runs amok with tRump's illegal gestapo seizing 5-year olds and legal U.S. citizens doesn't look too good, does it...

They weren't sitting in the roadway with the clergy, but they were alongside them cheering with signs and a few of them were interviewed. Several airport employees have either been personally harassed by ICE or have had family that have. The vibe was not violent or angry, at no time was it anything but a peaceful protest. Good trouble.
